I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Houlgate for a few days and had a wonderful time. The staff at this place, Les Cabines, was exceptional. Maurine, in particular, was always wearing a warm smile on her face and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The hotel itself has undergone a beautiful renovation and is miles better than before. The creaky floors are the only reminder of its previous incarnation. The location is perfect, right on the main street with the beach and restaurants just steps away. the staff's friendliness and the hotel's fantastic location made our stay truly enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully finished apartment. the two bedrooms had comfy beds and lovely bedding, and the bathroom had a fabulous shower. the kitchenette was a great addition, allowing us to prepare a quick picnic lunch and store snacks and a bottle of wine. the private garden space was a huge bonus on sunny days, and the fast and free wifi kept our teenagers happy.

The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the owners and staff were lovely and helpful. Cons: Nothing at all!

Great location just a few steps away from the beach and in the middle of a vibrant street with plenty of restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and local products, very tasty, with a good selection of fresh juices and pastries. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

The room was quite small and cramped, with no air conditioning or fan, making it very hot and uncomfortable during the night. Also, there was no wardrobe or space to hang clothes, and only one small trash bin that was quickly filled and not emptied during our stay. We also had to park quite far away as there was no private parking available. All in all, a mixed experience.
